What was it called, Great what? Then lets get rid of the history of the crown. Racism against the Irish needs to stop, free Ireland, Scotland and Wales. Replace that idiot king with a DEI hire.

“ It’s odd that after the U.K. gave up its colonies, the former colonials all wanted to emigrate to Britain due to corruption and human rights violations by the new independent countries. Maybe there was something to the white man’s burden after all...”

Great point!

Ouch, what a inconvenient truth!

"Many theories of potential writers."

Absolutely. But here's a weird coincidence: de Vere's brother-in-law was Queen Elizabeth's ambassador to the Danish court. He met two Danish guys there named Rosencrantz and Guldenstern. I don't know if Bill Shakespeare had any connections with the ambassador to Denmark...

In "Hamlet", the protagonist is attacked by pirates and left naked on the shore. That actually happened to Edward de Vere.

De Vere traveled through Italy extensively, where many of the Shakespearean plays take place. As far as anyone knows, Shakespeare never left England.

Whoever wrote the plays must have had Italian influences, but as far as we know, William Shakespeare had no connections with Italy at all.

...Edward de Vere... had the education, resources, life experiences and the abilities.

And he wanted to keep them!

There was a major text that circulated with the Commedia dell’arte plots, etc., which he is understood to have used.
