So the choice will always be Trump's.

I'm sure President thanks you for your agreement with his choice, and I still love Bongino, but I agree with you, President Trump gets to pick who will lead these corrupt organizations.

Bongino personally likes Curren. His hesitation is concerning Curren’s priorities. Bongino feels it's imperative that the SS has to modernized its technology and communication systems ( which are woefully out of date as shown at the First assassination attempt). He also believes that they must stop the counterfeit bill investigations which take up half the time of their agents. He doesn't know where Curren stands on these two issues.

I am fine with Curran—Trump trusts him and has had him by his side for years now. Bongino is a talking head who once was in the SS. Dan is probably a nice guy and qualified, but he is a talking head these days and out of the loop. Sean is in the loop and knows exactly all the players and personalities.

May the Presiden be well protected.

I’ve worked with people who were very good at their professional level jobs but were ineffective as managers. Two different skillsets and its rare that one has both.

Moving chess pieces around in a huge organization, and motivating them to work together to accomplish objectives, takes special skills. I hope for Trump’s sake that Curran has those abilities. Its absolutely imperative that he does. Just saying.

I don’t think Bongino wanted the job. He’s got a good life now. Now he has a relatively easy gig in media and must have a pretty good income. It would be hard to go to a maximum stress 24/7 monumental nightmare.

He’s 50 years old, and not in great health. Had had cancer not that long ago, and has issues with his arms/elbows.

I’m sure he’d be happy to collaborate and consult if asked.

Per DB’s summary, he HAD been consulted but the transition team ultimately passed on his recommendation.

He did say that — that “they didn’t take my advice”, and shrugged his shoulders. I heard that in the context of Trump’s nomination.

I was thinking that he could consult in the future if they needed him.

“You broke my heart”......Fredo shouldn’t have went against the Godfadda/Bruddah.

Understanding that Fredo harbors feelings of jealousy towards Michael, Fredo comes under the influence of Hyman Roth and Johnny Ola. They promise Fredo that if he gives them information about Michael's plans in Las Vegas and Havana they will in turn give Fredo his own powerbase. Their real intention is to find out if Michael wants to overthrow Roth's syndicate and use that information to plot Michael's assassination.
