Labour didn’t “rebuild” Britain. The implemented socialism and kept the “wartime” rationing going until they were forced to stop by the result of the 1950 Election.

I thought rationing ended after the 1950 election. But it went on until 1954. (and then gasoline rationing started back up again in 1956 with Suez)
