I would imagine that it's a challenge for the Russians to help the Syrian government because they're busy with the war in Ukraine.

But at the same time, they can reserve a couple of planes in Syria.

Iran has been involved in terrorism in our hemisphere as well.
Iran plotted to bomb a Washington DC area restaurant.
Iran hunts down dissidents on our streets including authors like Salman Rushdie, and expats.
Iran murdered USS citizen and former FVZi agent Levinsson.
That murder involved a former US citizen they recruited in the late 70s or early 80s who they used to assassinate, in the Washington DC area, a former diplomat of the Shah. That douchebag assassin fled the US to Iran where they rewarded him with a job working for their state run TV as a propagandist.
The list goes on of course. And much has been hidden by officials who wanted desperately to get an Iran Deal.
