Those who hate weed don’t know much personally about it aside from their stoner lazy brother

But the real dividing line is most are blue state Folks who see stoner woke idiots all around them

But in the south where I live and Midwest where I often work

I know 100s of folks

95% are righties and most smoke weed and have since teens

Almost everyone I grew up with and who still smoke from the 70s on are Trumpers and many like me are Sam Francis paleos of decades

Rebels then rebels now

I haven’t smoked since 1990 but I miss it at times esp for sec

Booze I’ve seen destroy user and family exponentially more than pot

I smoked pot daily 71/72 till 85 and again in 90

So I have that experience as perspective

And watching lifelong pot smokers raise families and be successful and now support Trump

“genetically modified” - crossbred. Hyperbole for effect. That said, the weed of today is lots stronger. From a legal dispensary, 20-40% THC is typical whereas from the 70’s to the 90’s it was about 3-10%. The extracts are a whole ‘nother story 95% THC isn’t even the same drug, its a hallucinogen. I tried it once & walked right into a telephone pole.

My relatives use marijuana and it has stunted them. They do not want to work full time, they do just enough to get by. They have no desire to do better.

I have 2 cousins that inherited a business and they could not wait to sell it so they could drink and smoke more and goof off even more.

My 3 sisters are users of drink and marijuana. The youngest more so and she hasn’t worked a full time job in nearly 20 years. She grows her own. I have never used alcohol or drugs and I am the only one who ended up with 7 figures.

The oldest sister has had 2 mortgages and the middle one 3 mortgages on their same homes that I am aware of. My middle sisters husband is a pothead who also rides motorcycles and has narcolepsy... He says he can feel it coming on before he would crash....!

I have seen too many people who are schizoid and cannot keep a job due to marijuana and drinking.

Kamala Harris is considered a drunk and rumored to use brownies in the past with marijuana. That explains her word salad talking.

Your logic seems to be, “As long as one harmful controlled substance is legal and part of the culture, then all harmful controlled substances should be legal and allowed to become part of the culture.”

Some take one hit off a pen and move on and get with the day

Or a gummy and are good to go

Some of course stay super high

You do build a tolerance like booze esp with dab

A paradox for late stage alkies is it takes less to bring out the sarcasm and belligerence or even at times the slosh drunkenness
