The muted reaction to this from the Arab states will be interesting. The Assad regime in Syria, which is itself a friend but not quite puppet of the mullahs in Iran, is probably thinking back to 1982 and saying "We tried to warn you". The rest will be quietly happy that an Iranian outpost in an Arab land has had its head (literally) cut off.
