Same here - except the eggs are from our hens - we have 17 layers and sell all the excess to our neighbors fur $5 a dozen.

The advantage of fresh eggs is not just the price and how good they taste - they seem to go a lot farther - I never weighed them but I could swear a normal-size fresh egg makes 50% more volume of scrambled eggs than the store-bought equivalent.

My wife knows a lot about nutrition and she says they are a lot better for our health too.
