The muscles which reveal the white at the top of the eyes are very rarely used by most people. Usually, their use is only in instances of extreme fear, or extreme rage. They are rarely exercised. If it happens easily and often, it is because those muscles were exercised and used often.
Try it in the mirror. It doesn’t come naturally for most people.
If one encounters someone who flashes the upper sclera in normal and casual communication, BEWARE. This person probably has severe rage issues. You’ll see it very soon and it will be very ugly.

The M109 uses the M284 Canon.
I’ve never worked on the 198, but if they weren’t the same, at least the round were ballistically similar.
Ballistically similar means the firing tables for both type were the same as well as the fire control computers (BUCS and BCS.
I recall that much. Plus I believe it extended the range by increasing the Muzzle Velocity. I don’t recall how much. That was 35-40 years ago.
The tubes had to be replaced every 4 or 5 years, after about 2500 rounds.
