It is 20,000 Haitians that moved to Springfield that had a population of 60000 previously. This means that 1 out of 4 people in Springfield is now Haitian.

I have no plans to go to Springfield to check this story out myself, but I’m troubled that the same folks who say that people are destroying the earth by changing the climate, that we needed to maintain 6-feet distance during covid, and that second-hand smoke is deadly, are also saying that this is not happening.
Gives me pause to dismiss this out of hand as I normally would otherwise.
