Hubby had no pity this morning said all they needed was a small generator to keep the lights and enough power on for the refrigerators and freezers. I reminded him they were not preppers there, they are a bunch of liberals waiting for big government to help them. So I realized he was right, no pity from me either. Except for the animals and children.
Hubby is a clear thinker in this case. It’s the same as feeling sorry for all the libs in NYC who are whining about the state of their city after voting for these people for years. No pity, except children and animals. The rats in NYC are doing fine though.
You actually don’t even need to be a prepper to have a small generator on standby. That’s just common sense. Oooops, I forgot the lib part....no common sense there.
That’s great, thanks for reporting. It was incredibly frustrating last time with the number of traitors in the administration. It’s good to know there will be less of them but also like you said, somebody’s footing the bill so they must have high hopes. On the other hand the other option is coming as him so.... but Trump must know something, he is campaigning away like there’s actually a chance to undo the cheating, I don’t think he’s the type of person that would waste his time.
We were so lucky, all we had were some trees across the driveway. The wind always seems to go in that direction. The Upper Hill is also a mess with lots of trees but it’s too steep to get up there with any equipment other than chainsaws so it’s going to stay a mess.
It was just luck, so many of our neighbors are going to be out of power until the middle of the week. People in the city are out of water because their treatment plant got hit. We just happen to be in the right place for a change!
Interesting that there is more damage here then where the hurricane hit. I guess they are built for it. The problem all around here is the bridges, they weren’t built to handle the velocity of flooding and I don’t even want to know how many months it’ll take to rebuild them. In the meantime traffic will be backed up. I just got some maps from the city showing suggested ways to travel. It’s on Tiny Mountain back roads, single Lane in each Direction to replace a four-lane in each direction. I might be staying home a lot

I wonder if any smart residents in DC have their houses up for sale. If Elon does what he says he’s going to do, that is cut 75% of the bloated grifting federal government, there’s going to be a flood of houses on that market lol.
If you add up those homes, plus all of the homes that are going to be sold over the next few months of those leaving, or should I say fleeing the country to avoid the long arm of the law, that should ease the real estate crunch quite nicely, at least for high-end homes.
When I hear the likes of Mitt Romney saying he may leave America if Trump is elected, I do wonder which country they’re all going to flee to.....it would have to be one from which they cannot be extradited. My suggestion is Iran.

I watched the Amy testimony last night on X.
I see Trump is on that list of attendees at Diddy’s parties. I refuse to believe that. He wouldn’t surround himself with such disgusting filth - not just the people, but the results of their activities.
I see Justin Beiber on the list as well, which is not surprising, as Diddy groomed him from a young age. Also, Mark Wahlberg, whom I thought was a good guy. And TD Jakes....as in Pastor Jakes, as in big $$$$ tv preacher. Someone named Kat called him out as well.

But not all federal employees live in dc. I worked for the Department of labor, Department of the Navy on a naval base. There’s lots of civilians doing stuff like that. Plus the post office. Unfortunately it’s a huge group now and they’ve been making more money than civilians, it used to be the opposite that for a pension and security you had a lower salary. I saw that change during my time there. I had no clue what was going on but now we see why.

Very few Americans realize that, if Trump is NOT elected, this will be the last election. Far from being a threat to democracy, he is the only way to save it!
Let me explain: if even 1 in 20 illegals become citizens per year, something that the Democrats are expediting as fast as humanly possible, that would be about 2 million new legal voters in 4 years.
The voting margin in the swing states is often less than 20 thousand votes. That means if the “Democratic” Party succeeds, there will be no more swing states!!
Moreover, the Biden/Harris administration has been flying “asylum seekers”, who are fast-tracked to citizenship, directly into swing states like Pennsylvania, Ohio, Wisconsin and Arizona. It is a surefire way to win every election.
America then becomes a one-party state and Democracy is over. The only “elections” will be the Democratic Party primaries. This already happened in California many years ago, following the 1986 amnesty.
The only thing holding California back from extreme socialism and suffocating government policies is that people can leave California and still remain in America. Once the whole country is controlled by one party, there will be no escape.
Everywhere in America will be like the nightmare that is downtown San Francisco.
