Another happy ending, saving thousand$.
What a shame they couldn’t save the robber.
“PADDOCK HILLS, Ohio (WKRC) -A man who allegedly attempted to rob a convenience store in Paddock Hills is dead after the clerk apparently shot him”
“apparently shot him”
So does that mean the clerk pointd his finger at the robber and said “ Bang Bang Bang”?
“ Bruenton, on the other hand, has a rap sheet dating back to the 1980s, including at least two crimes that sent him to prison: an aggravated robbery in 1992 and an assault in 2007. Then, a month ago, police arrested Bruenton for allegedly attacking someone with a wrench. Three weeks ago, officers arrested him for allegedly attempting to steal groceries from a Kroger.”
A habitual criminal commits a LOT of crimes over a lifetime. That’s why, when you find one, it’s worthwhile to put him away for as long as you can.
Notice the article makes no mention of the perp having held any sort of job.
“Alleged”......
“Surveillance video from the Gold Star across the street showed police arriving within two minutes. Inside the BP, 57-year-old Dana Bruenton lay on the floor, dying from a gunshot wound. “
This will show EVERYTHING that happened.
Career Criminal, now deceased. Close the file on this guy.
I agree. It is a refreshing article. A clear story of what happened, with whom, where, and when. We can even put together the why. It reads like it was written by a human being who understands how to tell a proper story.
I knew lit!
When these Amish people leave the farm, they become dangerous.
Uh-oh. Another George Floyd just before the election?
Just think with the new EV charging stations there will be no Gas stations to Rob ,LOL
Get on the ground is definitely my line in the sand. Nothing good ever happens after get on the ground.
“Arrested for attacking someone with a wrench!”
The article does not clarify, but something tells me he wasn’t using an Alan Wrench.
“alleged would-be robber”
I haven’t been to college and I can do the job better. But I’ll never get a shot because there’s hundreds of thousands of disgusting H1Bs invading our country, with companies fighting each other to give them as much as possible.
Mot really, when it takes an hour to charge a car/
57 years of age is old to still be doing this kind of robbery, where reflexes may be a little slowed down.
The cashier was quicker on the draw, apparently.
Notice that there is no mention that the robber was armed, unarmed, or had a knife, gun, monkey wrench, spear, club or what have you.
In this day and age, convenience stores have to hardened. The clerk must be in a safe and protected area. That’s especially true of one that’s in a sketchy area and open late at night.
I sometimes stop at a convenience store that borders a rather sketchy area. The clerk stands behind a simple counter. If I was so inclined, I could just take two steps, then attack her. But a simple door between her station and the rest of the store would prevent it.
It is a real shame that we even have to consider such things. Be we do, thanks to today’s Democrat party.
The reporter never said if the robber had a weapon. Pretty bad omission since how do you order someone to open a register and get on the floor if you aren’t packing some kind of weapon?
