I would add, as part of his policy of economic nationalism, the use of tariffs to level/tilt the playing field for American businesses. Free trade was always illusory. We were having our lunch eaten by other nations, which didn't practice reciprocity.

My my computer is working, but the cable is out. We’ve had so many lightning strikes that it finally successfully knocked. The cable out used to happen all the time down here, but not so much these days.
