These are real peasants, suffering under the yoke for centuries, so it took a lot to stir them into action. Besides the Patroons’ short-lived attempt at having serfs, and of course slavery, Jim Crow and DEI BS, Americans have centuries of being accustomed to freedom. On the other side of the equation, people are sick to death of “activists” and riots, and don’t want to be like that.

During our Revolutionary war, women would hang wash on clotheslines. Different colors, clothing types, etc. would mean something to the American forces, food here, room for the night, that kind of thing.

Thanks! The point is, if our current communication system is compromised or banned, there will be ways to communicate. One of the reasons we still have a landline telephone. Morse code, sign language, smoke signals, flags and new ways to communicate not yet thought of.
