Open your eyes. The news is filled with issues about race, woman vs man, white vs black, Trump is a weirdo. Anything and everything other than the economy, other than inflation, other than WW3 looming.

This is what the left want. They are the experts at identity politics and that is exactly what we are seeing. I’m not saying they will win with this tactic but it gives them the best chance to win.

Trump calling Harris names plays right into that mantra.

And why do you think the Democrats are talking about race? Because they know it’s effective with a significant segment of the population who don’t have a clue about the economy or any other issue of importance and won’t even give such issues a moment’s thought as long as the prospect of voting for the first black female president dangles in front of them.

Open your eyes. Not everyone decides their vote the same way you do. Trump is talking about Kamala’s dishonest use of identity politics because the only way he’ll be able to reach voters who are swayed by such things is to point out that she’s not who she pretends to be. The California Attorney General who obstructed efforts to get two wrongfully convicted black men freed from prison (one who was serving on death row) now wants to claim she cares about the black community because she has, perhaps, 1/16 black ancestry? Trump’s not about to let her get away with it and he’s smart not to.

And BTW, Trump can do more than one thing at once. He can talk about issues such as inflation, crime, foreign policy and still address Kamala’s racial pandering scam.

Open your eyes. Over the past 8 years Trump has become massively popular and you still don’t understand how he was able to do it. He did it by ignoring the conventional wisdom and doing the exact sorts of things you’re warning him to avoid.

Trump agrees to debate on Fox News channel – but Harris insists on ABC

Donald Trump has agreed to debate Kamala Harris on Fox News in September – but the vice-president has not signed on to what would be a switch-up. Trump had previously agreed to appear on ABC News and debate Joe Biden a second time this year before the president ended his re-election campaign.

In a statement on his Truth Social platform, Trump said the debate would be held on 4 September in Pennsylvania. The former president said that there was a conflict of interest at play after filing a defamation lawsuit against ABC and network host George Stephanopoulos over the anchor’s assertion that Trump had been “found liable for rape” in the E Jean Carroll case.

Trump says he’s got a conflict of interest. “The Debate was previously scheduled on ABC against … Biden ......not his replacement..... but has been terminated in that Biden will no longer be a participant.

Trump noted: “I am in litigation against ABC Network and George Slopadopoulos, thereby creating a conflict of interest,” Trump wrote.

The Republican president added that the site of the debate on Fox News – had not been determined. But he said the moderators would be Fox News’ Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum, and the rules would be similar to his 27 June debate with Biden – except that this time there would be a studio audience.
