Take it from me, Republicans: Kamala Harris is a strong candidate. Don't underestimate her.

We have to stay away from RACE, CLASS & GENDER.

Deal with the leftist-communist skank on the issues.

"The issues" are whatever people care about.

And with DEI affecting everything -- college admissions, crime stats, entitlements, immigration, court verdicts, political appointments -- race, gender, "gender identity," and ethnicity increasingly are the issues.

You can say, well, I'll take the high road. I'll be principled. I'll ignore the issues that people care about, and only talk about Constitutional principles and values.

But Republicans and conservatives have been taking the high road for decades now. The left attacks straight white Christians for being who we are, and conservatives respond with tax cut proposals.

They’ll make the election about abortion. We must make it about immigration and crime.

“Is there some reason that you don’t think that the name-calling schtick from the leftists isn’t harmful to the democrats?”

Because I see no indication that it has done so. Maybe it won’t hurt Trump either - but IMO it feeds directly into the “likability” issue that the left has relentlessly hammered him on, and I think he inadvertently continues to give them fuel...which in turn can influence undecided voters who are too stupid to see past it and focus on issues. I think that calling her what she is (radical leftist/socialist) is effective, but if he gets into the schoolyard memes it starts working against him.

And nice guy President Bush finished his term with the lowest approval rating for a president in the 20th century.
