I think maybe it has occurred to the White House that ignoring Netanyahu for a Sorority Dance may not send the right message about readiness for international diplomacy.

If you put it in those terms and it is true that Iran will be so suicidal as to attack the USA with nukes, then GIVING Israel the weapons they need without asking for money is simply saying that we are making use of THEIR military to fight our war against Iran for us.
But it would be a bonus to American taxpayers if they were paying for it. It means we get the money AND still neutralize Iran.
In terms of advantage to America, I’d rather they BUY from us rather than we GIVE to them.
So yes, I still want to know the answer to my question.
