IF this attempt was carried out with Biden’s full knowledge (as full as he’s capable of) it would have been a double boost for his candidacy, had it succeeded. First his opponent would be dead or severely injured enough to make him unable to continue his candidacy AND, he would have been able to “show the public how presidential his is” by playing the concerned routine that he’s doing now. But since Trump didn’t cooperate and go away quietly, Biden only gets to do the second part.
