“Sounds like my old mandatory race relations classes back in the early 70’s in the Army. All whites are racist, even if we’ve never heard of it before.”

In the 80s and 90s it was blacks AND women. All white males were racists, misogynists, and sexual harassers.

Reading what you posted absolutely makes my blood boil.

And the thing that bothers me most, these people responsible for this will never, ever be called to account for it.

When we get into a conflict with an enemy who is close to a peer to peer Capability with us and we get our clock cleaned, none of these people will be around to answer for it. They’ll all be rich and gone somewhere.

“The massive DEI bureaucracy, its training and its pseudo-scientific assessments are at best distractions that absorb valuable time and resources,” the executive summary states. “At worst they communicate the opposite of the military ethos: e.g. that individual demographic differences come before team and mission.”

Nice to see what all sane people already know confirmed by a scientific study.

you’d have to first probably cut over 10k ranking officers because they can’t perform at the level required.

And you'd have a much better performing force just by cutting away a lot of dead wood in the upper ranks. Removing them would NOT be a detriment to military readiness.

A “woke” military would run like cowards the minute they were challenged. Loyalty to the regime would be the last thing on their minds.

You can partially get around that by selectively applying its standards. As an outgrowth of Marxism, a properly run DEI program has no qualms about favoritism guiding its enforcement, or being logically inconsistent - those are strengths. Yes, it will eventually tear down the entire institution, but before that, it will take aim at certain enemies.
