IMHO, the biggest evidence of this was how remarkably fair the CNN moderators were, to the point of being cold and even brutal to Biden. There no was substantial evidence, to me, of them being biased against Trump.
The moderators left Biden to stand on his own merits, of which there were precious few.
This was a test of: Could Biden stand on his own (figuratively and literally)? The Dem powers who really call the shots knew he could not, and the momentum will build to replace him.
And it will not be Kamala (I wish it was!), which will piss off blacks and liberal suburban women to no end. Which makes Newsome a difficult replacement to sell.
I won’t say ALL roads, but a LOT of roads are pointing to Hillary right now. IMHO.

Well, he obviously didn’t take the bait because he’s still running. They’ll have to induce a stroke of heart attack, or inject him with some deadly disease to get rid of him at this point. I don’t think they’d stage an assassination for him. With Trump they would, but I don’t think they’d do it for Joe.
The question is, what happens between now, and the second and last debate on September 10th? The RATS will have already held their convention by then.

Biden has his handlers who want to retain power. They are the ones who must be “convinced.”
Trump was pressured by the GOPe to withdraw after the NBC tape. Fortunately, he resisted.
The Dems may already be well underway in their effort to steal the election again. Removing Biden could complicate that effort. The Dems are split. Every day that goes by makes it more difficult to drop Biden given the rules that govern elections in various states. And if you are going to steal the election, you could care less about the puppet at the top of the ticket. The people who really run this country prefer a feeble, mentally deficient candidate.

My prediction is Biden will "win"(you know, the thing)...then puppet Harris will takeover within a year.
Until the "parasites behind the curtain" are exposed and driven out, the downward spiral of the American empire (like the fate of all other empires before it) will continue.
What makes THAT task difficult is that half the population have been brain-fornicated into believing these parasites in power...are a GOOD thing...and have been systematically "programmed" to not understand the simple fact that...being a "useful idiot" to a parasite will NOT prevent THEM from eventually being devoured also.

We've had our OWN brain-fornicating parasites (NEOCONs) who have treated US as THEIR useful idiots for decades.
Face it, we ALL (in a "Republic") had the power (in numbers) to stop this madness before it turned into Stage IV cancer.
We ALL (in this "democracy") put too much faith in (paid-off by parasites) politicians to do the dirty work for us.
How did that work out?
To use another line from Independence Day...we (unfortunately) HAVE, and CONTINUE to ..."go quietly into the night"...if we continue to believe politics/government in general are the answer to ANYTHING other than what it has devolved into being...
...just ONE of the parasitic malignant growths (like media/academia) that are killing us.
