Armstrong is a legendary forecaster, who has been asked to do business with the corrupted Ukie government, he always rejected the offers

Armstrong is a convicted embezzler. No one is giving him offers of business anywhere in the world except for maybe Kenyan online offers.

Martin Armstrong (age 74) is a self taught economic forecaster and convicted felon who spent 11 years in jail for cheating investors out of $700 million.

So Putin is the peaceful man now?/ Bull feathers, as far as I am concerned this is just another example why this Armstrong kook shouldn’t even be allowed to be posted here.

Putin isn’t the only villain here. Unfortunately for the Ukrainian little people, the elites of both sides want to end the war on their terms alone. Peace will come only when one side or the other wins, or they can reach a compromise where neither side gets it all.

Right, wrong, or indifferent, Putin is trying to end this before the summer offensive. Ukraine has lost most of it’s population, and the outcome of the war will not change that.

So the question for the grand strategy boys is do they stop this phase now, and shore up Polish and Finnish defensives, or continue on hoping to drain Russian material faster?

With the 2024 election coming up my money is they will try to keep the war going. Maybe expand it.

Because the view is the only way out of the current economic and political issues is a war, so the left in the West will get a war.

Believe what you will, but the Ukro Nazi Azov units started bombing Donetsk and the ethnic Russian provinces since 2014. Plenty of UN human rights violations filed to reference.

They have been cited and refuted, but carry on with more gay love for "Putin it in".

I am a bit dismayed by all the cheer leading for a war run by the same a-holes that ignored the Americans under siege in Benghazi and abandoned allies in Afghanistan and supplied the enemy with a copious amount of weapons. These comments read like democratic underground posts.

The comical “article” you posted has no content.
Is it an old Monty Python inspired sketch?

Your support for permanent deep-state never-ending wars is weird. Russia must retreat from Georgia, Moldova, Crimea, Ukraine, and any other country is has stolen.
We are in 2024. Putin is behaving like a neo-colonialist drunk with imperialist dreams. 450.000 Russians have now died or are severely injured in order to please Putin’s invasion war-machine.

Taxes are now exploding in Russia (to pay for the costly war), and 40% of Russia’s budget is now locked on doing war. The neo-Soviet Union has been partly resurrected. Putin was a KGB-boy... so all what’s happening now is not a surprise.

Rule number one: The invader which annexes others people stuff and homes is ALWAYS the criminal.

Rule number two: Russia must respect LAW AND ORDER.
Law and order doesn’t give Russia the right to behave like ANTIFA, as Putin orders his “troops” to burn, loot, and annex others peoples lands.

Tell Putin this : “Get off my land!”

Also tell Putin to stop threatening America and the West with Nuclear destruction nearly every single week (for over 2 years now).

The only peace deal that Putin will have to accept, whether he likes it or not, is for Russia to leave all the 4 regions in Ukraine and all of Crimea. Then the Kremlin will have to pay war damages.

Putin and his ANTIFA-style behavior is doomed to fail.
In two years this war will be over. Russia will be exhausted and ruined (they have already lost an entire generation of young russian boys on the killing-fields of Ukraine).

In three years Ukraine will be the most powerful conventional non-nuclear military entity in all of Europe. At that time it will also be part of NATO.

No wonder Putin is panicking. He screams pleaseee pleasee ceasefire! ceasefire! He knows that he has already lost the war.

The EU has now put in place a massive military financing system for Ukraine that will last +10 years.
Sweden and and Finland are now part of Nato.
Europe’s military industry is now finally picking up steam.

Isn’t it ironic... Putin has saved Europe from its previously military decline and he has massively strengthen NATO. Who could have imagined that!!

I’m starting to think that Putin is a double agent.
He started as KGB and now maybe ended as a CIA-guy, ruining Russia from within. Think about it... nothing is impossible.

Anyway, Thank you Putin, for making the West a great military power Again.

A dozen years ago these Pro-Putin posters would be living it up on DU.

Your need for name-calling demonstrates the weakness of your position. The man you support, Zelensky, is equally corrupt as Putin.

There are no good guys in this. I am not keen to setup Ukraine as the funding source for future Biden/Clinton crime families either.

Ukraine is not worth what we have invested and lost to corrupt Ukrainians. Ukraine is not worth the death of Ukrainian and Russian boys.

Russia will get the Eastern provinces in the end.....a result that could have been negotiated before the shooting started and tens of thousands died.

I have always believed that Putin is a huge supporter of the Democratic Party and Deep State. I believe this entire war is a show put on to usher in the Great Reset so the elites can sweep away the US constitution, capitalism and individual liberty in one motion, resulting in a western socialist state.

Putin will go down in history as the man who helped establish global socialism.

You just proved my point. Cheer leading a war run by the deep state is a fool’s game.

And now the truth: There was shelling between the Ukrainian forces and the Russian surrogate forces after the Russians militarily occupied Donbas. There were civilian casualties on both sides, mostly because both sides were using unguided Grad rockets. There was no deliberate targeting of civilian populations. The vast majority of these casualties were in the first two years of the war and fell off drastically afterwards. In the latter years most of the civilian casualties, and again on both sides, were from abandoned mines and unexploded ordinance. This has been pointed out so many time that it makes one wonder what is the motivation of anyone who repeats the Russian propaganda that the Ukrainians were deliberately targeting ethnic Russian populations. (And just for the record, Donetsk and Luhansk ethnic Ukrainian provinces.)

Yup, there is no difference between dictators who invade neighboring countries in Europe for territorial annexation and their victims. Okay

No Russia is. Russia is an aggressive, dangerous, predatory hell hole of corruption that never lives up to its agreements. But it is a super power that has the whole rest of the world in its gun sites including us. If you can’t figure out that that is the biggest problem then that explains why you listen to this Armstrong crank. Look at the comments on your posting this. Most people here think you are idiot

Putin’s Final Plea for Peace

Weird how the guy that started the war, is now pleading for peace on his terms.

In the end this is probably where the border ends up. Between the red and blue regions.

“ Putin said that he would order an immediate ceasefire and call a truce if Zelensky 1) withdraws troops from four annexes regions, and 2) declines any invitation to join NATO.”

So Ukraine is supposed to let Putin keep the territory he illegally “annexed” in violation of international law and then leave itself defenseless against any future aggression on his part.

Only a fool would agree to such terms.
