LGBTQ soldiers in Ukraine hope their service is changing attitudes as they rally for legal rights

[KYIV, Ukraine — (AP) — Several hundred LGBTQ Ukrainian servicemen and their supporters marched in central Kyiv Sunday to demand more rights and highlight their service to their country in its war with Russia.

They argue that an improvement in gay rights would create a further distinction between Ukraine and Russia, where LGBTQ rights are severely restricted.

That statement is nothing more than liberal manure. A sexual perversion is not a diversity if it is used in the same sentence as murder, rape, selling drugs to kids, or any number of a perverse actions. It is against the determinations of God. So defending the “right” to do it is not protecting territories even if it is safeguarding the acts. It is assisting in the abomination of them.

Reverse the last part of the statement:

“NATO’s diversity is our strength”

So in other words, we are strong by recognizing and being forced to accept our differences right or wrong? You can’t blanket a statement like this and not get both sides of the street. And the one being recognized here is not a strength, it is a preference. One not accepted by enough people to make it distasteful and should not be a reason to join.
