That was the giveaway that they were cops. Gangs are race or ethnicity based.
The copier scene was to portray males as bumbling, awkward, stupid creatures who need the far superior women to get them through simple tasks.
Another for something else has a male afraid of some outdoor challenge and then passes a cow on the roadside and asks the woman “is that a buffalo?” and she instructs him it isn’t.
This has been going on since the 1950s.
