Under the Biden plan Hamas rejected the three rescued males were not being returned, just the young woman. “Civilian” arabs were being paid to house them and collectively were likely being used as human shields for high ranking Hamas. Some reports are that one such has been killed. The intensity of resistance to the rescue op would support that high ranking Hamas were there, not that it was just a bunch of “civilian” and thus unarmed casualties in waiting for Hamas to announce.
Or they could decide to track down and terminate the individuals that did those things to them.
