I had no idea there was a US cricket team before this tournament. USA! USA!

I’d be willing to bet the entire US team is of Indian (dot) heritage.

And you know all the Indians are doubly thrilled because it was against Pakistan.

I get along with my Indian co-workers, because I can actually talk Cricket with them.
There’s nothing like The Ashes, which is the series of Test Matches between Australia and England.

Did any of them work at Duncan donuts and have a slight Indian accent?

Yeah, I always root for the Windies, but they aren’t what they were back in the 70s. I watched some videos, they had some real nasty bowlers back then.

It’s reminiscent of when the US beat England in the 1950 soccer World Cup.

I know. I’m Australian raised in Canada. I went to an England Australia match at the Sydney Cricket Ground in 1988. It was a fun time back when I followed sports. Nowadays the only sports news I read is here on FR. The NBA and NHL finals are on now. There was a time I’d be glued to the tube watching them and getting hyped for the Olympics. No longer the case. This news about the US cricket team made me smile however.
