“So far they’ve been using up old Soviet-era equipment and at some point they’ll run out.”

All other things remaining equal, at recent rates, some of that gear runs out in about a year, and most of it around two more years.

Well, it's sustainable if you understand the Russian mentality for fighting wars. Basically, they throw endless hordes of soldiers into the meat grinder with no real concern for losses. Betting that morale on the other side will eventually collapse and they will fold.

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. It worked in the Napoleonic Wars and World War II, however in World War I the citizenry eventually got to the breaking point as their sons were sent into the meat grinder and overthrew the Czar. Then in Afghanistan the Russians ran into an opponent that was just was willing to throw endless hordes into the meat grinder as they were, so eventually just gave up in frustration.

"I know that many Ukrainians fought in Hitlers army, but did others join the Russia army??"

I would assume that since a large percentage of Russians live in Ukraine, that a good number of them fought in Russian units because Ukraine was part of the Soviet Union at the time. Some Ukrainians may have even joined resistance forces during WWII. I know from reading a book about the Vilna Jewish Ghetto in what is now Lithuania, that the Vilna resistance fighters that fled the ghetto into the forest, met up with Russian partisans, and fought alongside them, and the Red Army to push the Germans out of the city of Vilna in July of 1944. There could have been Ukrainians serving with those partisans, and/or within the ranks of the Red Army as well.

““Putin” had multiple meltdowns today in his interviews with foreign journalists.”

Did he talk about how our next election would take days to count the votes and threaten anyone that would dare not accept the results? Oh wait, that was the United States.

Is this the crazy Putin you were mentioning?

"The F-16s are coming, as you well know, despite your petty quibbling over when." - BooBoo, April 30, 2024.

Five weeks ago.

But, but - BoobBoo will gladly fix predict their arrival on Tuesday, for $60 billion in aid and hamburgers today.

Let me think. Is Turkey a part of NATO or Russia's ally?

If you seriously think that Russia's industrial capacity is comparable to the US you are clueless.

Did you hear that Russia just built a new domestic semiconductor factory? It can produce 320 nm features.

Ukrainians fought against the invading Russians, against the Germans, against the invading Russians, and against anyone else who tried to conquer them.

Resupply to Crimea is getting tenuous, now that all of it is under the ATACMS range fan, and the F-16s are coming. Russian Air Defenses in Crimea have proven to be useless against ATACMS.

You're washin' hogs, here.

Do they send you in to blow sunshine up the skirts of your fellow zeepers when things are looking dire on the collapsing Ucrazian front lines, BooBoo?

Is this a trick question ?

Turkey moves ahead with its threats to send refugees to EU

Ukraine needs artillery shells not “semiconductors”.
