The DOJ may have a different boss in 7 months.
We have found that even impeachment isn’t an effective option any more, when you have a lawless, Dem-controlled Senate that refuses to try the case, in violation of their Constitutional duty.
But if we see Trump back in the White House next year, then the investigative work done by The House will prove to be invaluable as it will have provided much of the groundwork for any indictments that come from a Trump DOJ. I don’t want to hear about a special counsel unless its purpose is to swiftly compile the copious evidence that has already been uncovered by Congress, Inspector General reports, etc. and indict.
