I’m living in high desert now, at 5100 feet, when the nights are cool in Spring and Fall I use a whole house fan with all windows open to get the temp low and then close them about 7:00am, but when the real summer starts and the nights are also hot I use 2- 5,000 btu window units to keep my small house cool.
In the desert when the rainy season hits during summer and that horrible mugginess exists, A/C is a wonderful luxury.
Same here in NH in July. The 90s typically comes with the humidity. Then late afternoon/evening thundershowers. Which would really screw up the acidity level of the pool. Especially, if you got 1-2 inches of rain in a couple hours. It would wash all the sulfur out of the atmosphere. The next day I would have to go to the pool store to buy chemicals to correct the PH.
I am glad I no longer have a pool.
Hotter than Anderson Cooper at a Cub Scout Jamboree!
That’s funny. Think I’ll stay in my cool Arizona basement today and not risk your chilling experience.
I know a stripper that can do that.
