The interest at stake was the Cold War which was to stop communism. The domino effect was real and did play out. As a result communism is no longer on our door step, it’s within our country right now.
The Vietnam war was a military success which led to the Paris Peace Accords, which in effect was to end the war.
There was an exit strategy, US combat troops left Vietnam in 1973.
It appears to are pro communist or have drank the communist koolaid and believe propaganda or are just ignorant of history.
Let me school you some more. The North was badly beaten and needed the Peace Accords to regroup and rearm. Once done they led a massive invasion. The South Vietnamese held their own after our pullout. What caused them to lose the war was Sen Ted Kennedy got congress to defund their aid. As a result the South Viets literally ran out of bullets and gasoline and had to surrender.
Your friends, the communist democrats, are the ones that lost the war and got communism in our own country today.
As a Vietnam Vet I take deep offense to your trying to clutter that war in with current regime efforts in Ukraine.

Perhaps I am misunderstanding you. Are you comparing the relative limited attacks on Belgorod to the massive attacks on nearly all of Ukraine as equal?
As to Mariupol, what’s your point?
