District of Columbia Superior Court Judge Lloyd U. Nolan calls himself "woke," supports BLM, donates to a George Soros charity that helps violent criminals to stay out of jail, and thinks that an electronic ankle monitor will keep the public safe from a guy who fired over two dozen rounds at a car full of people along a busy street.

Magistrate judges are court employees, not confirmed holders of judgeships. Judges are supposed to be scrupulously non political,
And even things like making political
Donations and attending political events are sharply circumscribed.
These activities could theoretically cost him his job. Somehow I don’t think that’s actually going to happen
