What is going on is a worldwide communist revolution.
The "pro pali" protesters don't care about the people in Gaza or the West Bank.
It's all about the destruction of Judeo Christian Western Civilization, which is the greatest obstacle to the imposition of worldwide communist tyranny.
They look at it as an opportunity to push the revolution forward.
Many of the "protestors", especially the organizers were involved in Occupy Wall Street, Charlottesville, the blm / antifa riots, here.
The banana thing, as someone, already posted, is mocking the useful idiots, as the snowflakes as, at one "encampment" they posted a sign forbidding bananas because someone had an allergy.

First come vigilance committees. We’re seeing them pop up in the streets with citizens beating and/or capturing criminals and throwing illegal squatters out of houses.
Militias will be absorbed by constitutional sheriff departments as “deputies” for use in “emergency” situations. It’s the proper and legal way to go.
A wonderful example of why the State shouldn’t ‘get to decide’ on matters of free speech. So this was ‘racist’, how so? “because we say so”.
