Found this at a Columbia SC news station website, so may not have been a second shooter:
= = = = = =
Tuesday, April 30
3:02 a.m.: CMPD identifies the suspect as 39-year-old Terry Clark Hughes, Jr. The agency said Hughes was wanted on multiple warrants from Lincoln County and confirmed he was killed during the standoff.
8:33 a.m.: Jennings tells Fox News he cannot confirm there were two shooters, which was previously reported by law enforcement. Jennings said it’s possible that Hughes was moving throughout the house, creating the illusion of multiple gunmen.
What was the felony conviction, I wonder? They seem to avoid that question in the article. And why wasn’t he already in jail if he’s a felon? Is this another case of revolving door justice?
Looking at that photo of the house, I’m waiting for Mayhem to say, “If you don’t have Allstate, you could be paying for this yourself.”
...where do these criminals get their guns, you might say? Ask the BATF and their undercover gun dealer networks across America:
Thanks!
Then again, some of actually question the legitimacy of the entire concept of denying felons who are no longer in prison their God-given rights. If they are a danger to the rest of us, they should still be in prison.
Many on this site don't seem to be very supportive of our Constitutional rights. Those of us who have been paying attention are completely not surprised by this. It has been evident for years.
Well he’s in ready trouble now, then.
Now why and the hell wouldn’t you use SWAT for that warrant especially
knowing it was for a gun possession.
I don’t know any details about it, but kind of reminds me of Waco, where ATF wanted to stage a dramatic raid to arrest David Koresh & it ended up being a siege & a giant C.F.
Allstate will tell you that they’re not responsible to pay for the damage to the house. They will tell you to sue the police for the damage & good luck with that.
