A critical mass of “americans” are spineless, brainless, castrated, emotionally incontinent, ignorant, arrogant, unintelligent, and cowardly.

And many of these wretched excuses for human beings infest FR, and have posted on this thread.

If you feel that I’m talking about YOU ... you’re right.

Hang your head in shame.

The phrase the author leaves out was that the dog “was dangerous to anyone she came in contact with.”

That’s it right there. That dog needed to be put down and should be put down by any responsible dog owner. Any dog that bites people unpredictably needs to be killed or sent off to live on an island with no people.

Our next door neighbor’s dog bit my son’s ankle and hand after my son went into their yard to retrieve a soccer ball.(They had given my son permission to do so earlier). He got loose out in the street once and people were jumping up on top of their cars to get away from him. Later, the dog bit my wife as she trimmed flowers under our mailbox. I went over to talk to the neighbor and when he saw me, he said: “I know why you’re here. We are going to put him down.” And they did.

Geez. The left loves to murder babies and everyone is getting their panties in a wad over putting a 14 year old dog down? That’s 98 in dog years.

I put down a 12 year old cat once. Does it disqualify me to run for office?

No perspective.

I’ve had to put down an aggressive dog. He was the runt of a litter I rescued from a ditch a few miles from my home.

They are/were pitbull/black lab mixes, and I still have the only girl of the litter. She’s mouthy (barks at EVERYTHING), scared to death of thunder and lightning, but is the sweetest pup.

The one I had to put down attacked a friend of my daughters who was visiting, biting at the tires of her car even. Then he attacked my elderly dad, and finally a week later, attacked me. That was it. I’ll give a dog a second, even third chance. But, that’s it. He was being more aggressive (and weighing in at 80 lbs or more, was a menace) as he got older.

Just a dog.
From time to time people tell me “chill out, it’s just a dog” or “it’s a lot of money just for a dog.” They don’t understand the distance traveled, the time invested, or the costs incurred by “just a dog”.
Some of my proudest moments have occurred with “just a dog.”
Many hours have passed being my only company “just a dog”, but not for one moment did I feel despised. Some of my saddest moments have been because of “just a dog,” and on those gray days, the gentle touch of “just a Dog” gave me comfort and the reason to get through the day.
If you also think “it’s just a dog”, then you’ll probably understand phrases like “just a friend”, “just a sunrise” or “just a promise.” “Just a dog” brings into my life the very essence of friendship, trust and pure unbridled joy. “Just a dog” brings out the compassion and patience that make me a better person.
For “just a dog” I will get up early, take long walks and look forward to the future. So for me and people like me, it’s not “just a dog,” but an embodiment of all the hopes and dreams of the future, the memories of the past, and the absolute joy of the moment. “Just a dog” brings out the good in me and takes my thoughts away from myself and daily worries.
I hope one day they can understand that it’s not “just a dog”, but the one that gives me humanity and keeps me from being “just a human.” So the next time you hear the phrase “just a dog”, just smile because they “just don’t get it”.
“Just A Dog,” by Richard A. Animals.

I was listening to WABC tonight. Sliwa and Guiliani were discussing Noem. First, they said the books segment on the dog were totally tone deaf. But they went in to say they were in attendance at a NY event where she spoke in the last year or so. There conclusion then was she wasn’t ready for prime time despite some supporters looking for her advancement. I was a bit surprised they were being so frank about her.

Kristi Noem book: “I kill puppies”
In one day she shot dead a dog, a goat, 3 horses.
She likes to pull the trigger.
You gotta wonder if she hunts trespassers on her land.
