I just saw this billboard on my way from Phoenix to Winco in Gilbert. Fifteen seconds makes it hard to catch as you are driving down US-60E at 70MPH.

I saw the billboard and since I had not yet read this article, the first thing that popped in my head was, "Who is this guy? He looks like Mike Pence, but Pence isn't running for anything." I actually thought this was an attack ad on some non-MAGA guy in the primary. This ad is too wordy for a billboard, and doesn't connect.

The irony is, four years ago I jumped from Cruz to Trump and was very glad for the selection of Pence, thinking that meant that social conservatives had a seat at the table. I have been enlightened on both Pence and Trump since then.

Pence is at best a cipher.

Pence's 15 minutes are up - he needs to move on with his life or people will start thinking of him as a publicity hungry Adam Kinzinger type.
