Good grief.

DeSantis dropped out.

People need to look forward.
.
Some people are truly obsessed with him.

I don’t blame him. And, regardless of the outcome of this election, social conservatives need to be thinking ahead to 2026 and 2028. Otherwise, we are just slaves on the plantation expected to say “Yassuh” every few years.

He’s not really needed, so no worries. While some here cite Trump’s attacks on DeSantis, they usually “forget” that
DeSantis made a decision to try to unseat Trump as the head of the MAGA movement. He was not an innocent victim. He brought it on himself. Having said that, as long as he doesn’t come out and outright try to undercut Trump, I can cut him some slack over his lukewarm support for Trump. It’s better than Nikki Haley’s “take the ball and go home” reaction to losing. It’s not even her ball to take. Her attitude just makes her look weak and petty, which is exactly what she is.

Misleading title and taking what DeSantis said out of context.

Florida is a sure vote for Trump in 2024. The GOP's time, effort, and money are better spent in other states (assuming they actually support Trump like they should). If only out of necessity, DeSantis will support Trump in Florida to maintain his clout among Florida voters. The questions are what role DeSantis has in the national campaign, or if it is even necessary. Those questions do not have clear answers.

The whole premise of the article is a loaded question "will DeSantis help Trump nationally" to a predetermined answer of "no". When in fact, DeSantis has not made his decision, and may offer nothing to aid Trump outside of Florida.
