Why not just have the Speaker travel to Michigan and get on all the media outlets to announce that Donald Trump and the GOP have a fervent desire to line all American-born Muslims up against a wall and mow them down.
This is the Swamp attacking Trump. It’s not anything else, because nothing else matters than Trump.

I’m fine with Congress inviting the prime minister to visit. But how will the lunatic antisemitic fringe Schumer, miss Somalia and the other evil trash, receive him? They’re likely to further embarrass us with more Nazi- style pro- terrorist rantings.

Most support for Israel is Republican.
Most antagonism against Israel is by Democrats.
Shining the spotlight on the difference helps Republicans.

The schadenfreude here is delicious. The Democrats have stepped on a land mine of their own making and most likely have both feet blown off. This is what you get when you have to pander to a few thousand followers of a rump religion in Michigan in an attempt to save your electoral a$$.
I vividly recall Netanyahu’s address to Congress back in 2015. He is a forceful and articulate speaker. I remember thinking that I wished he were our President instead of the purple lipped Nigerian. This will be a wonderful opportunity for Netanyahu to bring a well deserved a$$ whupp’n to Biden and the rest of the back stabbers in the Democrat party. It will be a most enjoyable spectacle.

Israel can buy from Europe, Russia or China. They can purchase all the weapons they want.
Yes they can. But the USA has the best weapons, so why not buy from us?
Why aren’t Republicans asking why a 57 year old whack a war is our concern? Both sides are addicted to this conflict; must we be, too?
Why must we insert ourselves into things that are not our concern and serve no US interest?

Put it this way. You are the Speaker, the time to fund the government is upon us. You want to cut spending, you only have a 4 seat majority and not every Republican is on your side, plus, Senate is controlled by the Democrats and Biden is President.
In the meantime, the government has bills to pay and debts to service and the military to support.
What do you do as Speaker?
This problem has been going on for ages since as far back as George W. Bush’s second term. The only time we got off this viscious circle was when Republicans had a huge majority in both house in the 1990’s and Dick Morris advised Clinton to sign the spending bill presented to him by Newt Gingrich ( Trent Lott was the Senate mjority leader ).
Those times no longer exist.

Because The United States played an important role in the founding and international recognition of the State of Israel in 1948. The U.S. supported the United Nations plan to partition British-controlled Palestine into separate Jewish and Arab states. This became U.N. Resolution 181 in 1947. The early diplomatic recognition and support from the U.S. government under Truman was crucial for establishing and legitimizing the new State of Israel in 1948 after Britain’s departure from Palestine.
One other option is for the USA to just tell Israel to SHOVE IT and say, it’s your problem, we’re no longer going to get involved one way or another.
