Lol, Eastern Europe? The poorest country in Europe, Ukraine, and a handful of other strategically meaningless rump states? Who cares? Let them have it.

If China is our enemy, why does everything we touch, see and purchase from Red China?
Seem like one big con job.

[So 70 years of “strategic ambiguity” is out the window.]
Strategic ambiguity came after Carter ripped up the mutual defense treaty in 1979. Until then, any Communist invasion was to be met with an American military response.

Way to pull the “domino theory” out again. Them RuZZZZZkis will influence our elections! Them RuZZZZkis will steal our women right out of our noodle arms!
You would think with a name like ‘alter kaker’ you would be a little more concerned with what the Biden Regime is doing to murder Israel. Alter kaker literally, not figuratively, means ‘old shitter’ in Yiddish.

Taiwanese should be prepared to be Ukrainized.
All their elites have US and Japanese passports anyway.]
Strategic ambiguity was for a China perceived as a non-expansive power. It is now shaping up to be Imperial Japan, but 20x larger in manpower terms. In other words, China is reverting to historical form as an aggressive land-hungry power, after a long period of digesting imperial conquests that doubled its land area from the Ming era in the 1600s.

A basic principle of statecraft is to prevent small problems from becoming big ones. A China in its present configuration is a tiny problem compared to a China that includes all of Asia. Even a rambler like Sun Tzu would have recognized this.

The object, as it has been for a long time, is to keep the Russians as far away as possible.
Distance is always militarily significant. So is manpower: the Poles and Ukrainians, when adequately armed, add considerably to European forces. And there isn't any reason why Ukraine couldn't do as well as Poland economically if it were at peace and in the EU.

How do you figure? I have consistently said we should cut off China, completely. And I have repeated said we face the issue of commerce with China while potentially in a state of war.
And regarding Taiwan, I do question our involvement in their unresolved civil war. And short of arms, I think our commerce with China is big stick to play in this matter.
But overall, the key point, are Americans ready to give up their cheap Chinese goods? Or will they want them even while our soldiers might be fighting and dying?

There are many who post here, parasites, who want China and Russia to dominate. It’s bizarro world.

"A basic principle of statecraft is to prevent small problems from becoming big ones. A China in its present configuration is a tiny problem compared to a China that includes all of Asia. Even a rambler like Sun Tzu would have recognized this." “If your enemy is secure at all points, be prepared for him. If he is in superior strength, evade him. If your opponent is temperamental, seek to irritate him. Pretend to be weak, that he may grow arrogant. If he is taking his ease, give him no rest. If his forces are united, separate them. If sovereign and subject are in accord, put division between them. Attack him where he is unprepared, appear where you are not expected.” "Hence, when we are able to attack, we must seem unable; when using our forces, we must appear inactive; when we are near, we must make the enemy believe we are far away; when far away, we must make him believe we are near."
"Let your plans be dark and impenetrable as night, and when you move, fall like a thunderbolt."
