1. banks borrowing massive amounts of money three years ago with short term rates of 1% or less and lending it long term at 3% while completely ignoring the possibility that the Fed would jack both the short and long term rates though the roof “to fight inflation”, resulting in the banks having to cover their ultra-cheap short term loans at rates much higher than the rates the money was loaned out at ... IOW, banks being run into the ground by stupid, greedy, ignorant children who fell into biden’s interest trap because, as children, their foresight extended only a few weeks into the future ...
2. covid lockdowns that resulted in everybody working from home and corporations realizing work-from-home was often permanently viable, resulting to massive amounts of empty office space, resulting in massive devaluation of billions of dollars worth of office space financed with money that will never be repaid to the banks that loaned it ...
both of the above reasons are a DIRECT (and foreseeable) consequence of Bidenomics ...
