I dislike the polls about Joe being too old. The issue is not age, it is mental competence. I’ve had relatives and friends who were mentally sharp into their early 90’s.
One thing I notice is Biden’s inability to deliver a joke. His timing is always rushed. He’s reading a joke rather than delivering a joke. On the other hand, Trump’s comic timing is amazing. Trump gets a wry look on his face, leans into the podium, pauses for a moment and delivers the punch line.
Biden reads a speech (poorly). Trump reads a crowd (like a standup comic).

He absolutely has to have been. You can’t go from mumbling old man to hyped up without some drugs in your system.
I tried to read the whole article, but the Times is a complete train wreck of adware.

Joe has two speeds, fast and slow. There is no in-between. You can tell when he’s been juiced. He talks so fast you can’t understand what he’s saying, and then there’s the other un-juiced Joe, who stammers and rambles repeatedly, and can’t put an intelligent sentence together.
Bank on it... Joe has an armful of SOMTHIN, whenever he has to ‘appear’!!
Compare Biden’s performance at speaking engagements just prior to the SOTU speech. His speech was slow rambling and almost catatonic compared to the hyped up SOTU speech. He was obviously medicated and it showed. His Darth Vader speech in Philadelphia was also drug induced. Aside from the issue of elder abuse, it is frightening to think the commander in chief whose finger is on the nuclear button is being drugged for political purposes.
