“Tim Scott.

He’ll bring in the black vote and the vagina votes.”

Tim Scott is a bit of a suck-butt. Byron Donalds would bring in Black votes and is very strong like Trump.

“no matter how good looking she is.”

In her book ‘The Age of Innocence’, author Edith Wharton refers to “the subtle authority of beauty”.

RE: Lieutenant Colonel (Ret) Allen West is a Christian constitutional conservative, combat veteran, former Member of the US Congress from Florida

Make him a cabinet member. Maybe Defense Secretary. He’d be better than the totally woke Lloyd Austin.

Ramaswamy: While he may be a United States Citizen, I do not know if he is a natural born citizen. If he is not, then he cannot serve as VP.

Gabbard: Gabbard was apparently born in American Samoa. According to Wikipedia, “American Samoa is the only permanently inhabited territory of the United States in which citizenship is not granted at birth, and people born there are considered ‘non-citizen nationals’ with limited rights.” If true, then Gabbard cannot serve as VP.

RE: American Samoa is the only permanently inhabited territory of the United States in which citizenship is not granted at birth

But was Tulsi’s father and/or mother citizens of the USA at the time of her birth?

The 2024 Conservative Political Action Conference, which took place at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center in National Harbor, Maryland, last week,

Why have this in MD or any other Blue State? There are so many other perfectly good Red States to host this, and why host anything at the "Gaylord National Resort"? That just sounds too woke for a conservative convention.

Are with the West pick but nit with the Lake pick. She has to accomplish something first. And I know she was cheated! The optics are still failure.

According to Wiki, Gabbard’s father was born in American Samoa. According to this website, her mother was born in Indiana: https://celebsrecord.com/carol-porter-gabbard/#gsc.tab=0.

The fact is, we are all influenced by it. Sales personnel know this. My wife and I both worked in Health Care, and you could spot the Pharmaceutical Reps a mile away.

The guys were always young and handsome, wearing dark, usually blue, often pinstriped suits, shoes with pointy toes, hair coiffed or slicked back.

The gals were also young, very good looking, often blonde, and also wore suits that were dark blue, often pinstriped, and the skirts were short, but...not TOO short. Spiked high heels.

Both men and women dragged that rolling luggage case behind them filled with pharmaceutical samples!

We watched a movie one night called “Love And Other Drugs”, starring Anne Hathaway and Jake Glyndenhall, as drug reps from different companies who begin seeing each other (Jake Glyndenhall’s character goes to work at Pfizer, and arrives there just as Viagra is introduced...so that is what he sells!)

My wife and I both nearly fell off the couch. The makers of the movie nailed all of it perfectly, the drug reps, the company conferences, it was hilarious!

I thought that movie was going to be one of the best and funniest movies of that kind, but...they made the fatal mistake of making the first half of the movie fun and hilarious, and the second half serious and sad, which ruined it. I couldn’t recommend it. But the first half is spectacularly good!

Point is, attractive people have a leg up on those of us who aren’t. But if that is all you have, you may be able to ride it for a bit, but eventually, people will figure out you are just a pretty face. But...it does let them get their foot in doors, doors that less attractive people won’t have a chance at, or will have a harder time getting in.

Is that shallow? Absolutely. But that is human nature.

As for Kristy Noem, she completely lost me on the same-sex-transgender thing in her state. For me, it was a tell, how she came out on that. I know Trump is squishy on those things too, but he has a record for me that lets me overlook that. Noem did not have that.

The story is she vetoed a poorly written bill and signed later a better bill.

https://www.nbcnews.com/nbc-out/out-politics-and-policy/south-dakota-governor-signs-2022s-first-trans-athlete-ban-law-rcna14725

Apparently, her bigger problem is explaining the supposed Corey Lewandoski affair. Real or not?

That may be, but I recall hearing her talk about the issue at the time, and didn’t like what I heard.

It sounded too much like straddling a fence at the time. I think if she had said “This bill is no good, it won’t protect biological women in sports...and we will get one that will...” I might have felt differently.

And maybe she did say it, it just never percolated out to the rest of the country, so I can sure admit I got the wrong impression. We get sprayed with a fire hose of information every day, and the Drive-by-Media, well...that is what they do.

Heck. If she is selected as Trump’s running mate, I would probably go along with it, because what else am I going to do?

Well. While she wasn’t a hard no for me anyway, I do prefer Kari Lake.

“The fact is, we are all influenced by it.”

At this point I want Trump to pick whoever will most help him win the election.

I want Trump to pick someone who he can depend on and won’t stab him in the back.
