Re: 33 - is Border Gateway Protocol which is used (among other things) to allow for orderly routing of networks at peering points, etc. Selecting and routing to the “correct” peer helps with network efficiency.
It works - until is doesn’t (haha) - has been my general take on BGP. When it doesn’t work, there can be problems (some very adverse) with poor routing decisions, etc.

Lost signal on my phone most of the day. Didn’t get it back until like 3 pm.
Potential cause noted:
We have Verizon’s wireless modem and that is a little slow with all of the so called landline phones on that system.
This morning, our Verizon wireless modem is working at “medium speed” which is really fast. It is a little shaky.
“My son and daughter-in-law both use their phones constantly as they are in businesses that put them in their cars most of the day. This is a major problem for our economy if it can’t be repaired quickly.
You described our direct DNA offspring and their’s.
Their jobs depend on reliable phone coverage on the road and in their offices or home offices.
