The old "STUDIO SYSTEM", which was run by PATRIOTIC men, was much better!
I just can’t get into it. The original series was SOOOOOOOOOOOO much better. So were the original actors.
It seems to have a bit of a Downton Abbey feel to it...but, I could be wrong....this is just my take, from a very quick glance.

I haven’t gotten that vibe. It’s more of a story of a rural, small town veterinary practice. Very clean and so far (season 4) has not gone “ woke”.

I'm having a love/hate thing re FUNNY WOMAN, which follows ACGAS. I enjoy the fact that I know EVERY reference ( old actors and actresses, the music,BABY SHAM, and especially THE BLACK & WHITE MINSTRALS) but wonder how many Americans have a glimmer of an idea as to any of that.
MISS SCARLET is much better this season.
Hopefully the new soon to be seen series, will be good, but I'm not holding out much hope; though PROFESSOR T ( great show ) looks like it's on the roster. :-)

Not with maple syrup IN the fritters, but on them. My nephews still tap the maple trees at the family homestead in Western NYS, and boil it down over a wood fire in the sugarbush behind the barn. (Grandpa sold it to Vermont and they’d stick a Vermont lable on it. Truth in advertising wasn’t big in the ‘30s-50s, apparently.)
We do all sorts of things with the syrup, including drizzling it on fritters, donuts, etc. It’s really good to drizzle it hot on snow and eat it like candy.

Agree. We always have a few in the freezer for comfort food on a rainy or snowy day. We aren’t fans of the beef, though. Prefer Chicken, but turkey will do.
We always add extra veggies.
