Maybe a drug deal gone wrong.
Quick!
What we need is MORE gun control laws for criminals to ignore.
That’ll do the trick.
Obviously they don’t have enough “Gun Free Zone” signs posted on campus. That should be a simple fix.
This is what happens when you make it no longer a crime to shoot and kill people. That’s a dumb friggin’ move.
Well, lets see...California...
One gun buy a month—Check.
Must be 21 years of age to buy-Check.
The gun must be stored with a state-approved locking device in a locked container,-Check.
Ammunition must be kept separate from the weapon.-Check
Handgun and rifle registration-Check.
Background checks-Check.
Ban on A-s-s-ault rifles.-Check.
Ten day Waiting Periods-Check.
Red Flag law-Check
FBI checks-check.
Only California approved hand guns allowed-Check.
Tax on ammo-Check.
Background check for ammo purchases-Check.
Age limit of 21 for all guns. Check.
Limits to where you can carry a legal licensed concealed firearm-Check!
Micro-stamping -Check.
Age limit for ammo-Check.
Gun free zone-Check.
Ban on large magazines-Check.
No private individual sales-Check.
No buying out of state and bringing them into California.
So what new scheme and dream will they come up with..
I know, I know . . . off point, but . . .
Shots do not ring. Or even ring out. Pretty lazy writer to use such a cliche.
I decry shots ringing out. And believe that decry is far past its expiration date.
Gun control laws only affect law abiding citizens ... not criminals, gangbangers or illegal aliens.
I can tell you from personal experience that there’s about a 98% chance that someone hanging around Sproul Plaza on a Friday night at 8:40pm is not a student at the university. Various troublemakers and criminals drift into the campus area of Berkeley on Friday and Saturday nights looking for parties, drug deals, fights and general criminality. It’s been this way for decades.
And strongly worded letters.
That’ll scare the pants off ‘em!
