The Oklahoma GOP has disowned Lankford for this and rightfully so.

No kidding!? Had not heard that. That is wonderful news! If only they could recall him now.

Looks like they backtracked on censuring Lankford. The committee that did it got rebuked. The news is about a week old.
"The executive director of the Oklahoma Republican Party (OKGOP) claimed Tuesday that the party’s recent vote to censure Sen. James Lankford (R-Okla.) for his role in the Senate’s border security negotiations took place at an illegitimate meeting. Stan Stevens, OKGOP executive director, told The Hill the vote to censure Lankford took place during a State Committee meeting Saturday called by party Vice Chair Wayne Hill."
OKGOP Chair Nathan Dahm was not at the meeting, he said, and is “not recognizing” it as “legitimate,” arguing he — along with some other committee members — were not given “proper notice,” Stevens said.
“We don’t recognize the censure of Senator Lankford [or] any other action taken at this meeting because we do not view the meeting as legitimate,” Stevens added.

The bill is a nightmare and it is the rino’s giving Biden a lifeline. It's up to Biden to act on the border. He refuses to act on the border tells you everything we need to know.
We don't need a bill to give Biden the authority to act on the border.

So, Brian, are you saying we should ignore the worthless U.N.and exit it tomorrow? You’re talking me into it., in fact you’ve convinced me.
To: oldbill
There is no way, no system, no accounting, no measuring, no inter-port communications, no numbering scheme, no time-stamping, to know in real time the number of illegals crossing the border at scores of entry points and other non-legal crossings. The number is reached when Secretary Mayorkas says it is. Since he regularly claims there is no emergency at the border, that will be never.

The government would never ever allow an end to catch and release, since the only way it could work is with very large detention centers/refugee camps that would IMMEDIATELY cause lawsuits with the result of court-ordered release.
Our present system of government cannot stop the invasion.
Our present government will not stop the illegal invasion. They obviously want them here, and they want the chaos they have created with them. They want cheap labor that will work in almost slave like conditions without complaint. Most urgently, they are registering them to vote, not so the illegals can vote, but so our elites can vote for them and the corporate media can declare the result "democracy", and anyone who questions that propaganda will be labeled an "insurrectionist".
The president can declare an invasion and suspend habeas corpus, and the Congress can restrict the subject matter jurisdiction of the federal courts in such cases. That all requires a government that chooses to act, rather than watch in tacit agreement with the present open border policy.

Exactly and since no Bill is actually needed this is the GOPe helping Biden with the issue that has hurt him the most because Lankford and Graham and the rest of them are treasonous scumbags who want to sabotage Trump.

Well looks like every single thing the critics of the bill said about it are true and every single thing supporters said about it are untrue.

What everyone is missing is that the 5000 illegal threshold does not FORCE the President to shut down immigration...it ALLOWS HIM TO DO SO!!
Does anyone think Biden is going to do that, other than this ELECTION year?!?!
