In the minds of the average American, Trump isn’t a revolutionary leader... he is a folk hero. He is visible sign of the frustration of the people.

That is what gnaws at bureaucrats and politicians; they have become accustomed to creating false celebrities... someone who’s music, art, or politics can be pushed on to the public.

It is a sort of social engineering.

Trump is different, his policies were crafted from listening to what the public wants. Trump’s popularity comes from the ground up so an attack on him seems, to the public, as a personal attack on each voter.

DC thinks that if they get rid of Trump everything they hate will disappear... it won’t.

Trump isn’t a revolutionary, he is something much more powerful, something the establishment hates... he has become a legend in same the spirit of other US folk heroes.

The public realizes it needs a protector against the corruption/oppression of the existing world order.

I’m guessing that Biden will step aside and the Democrats will someone more competent but just as contemptible.

I have a friend who was at the Playboy Mansion during the time that Maher was there. The playmates called him “little Bill”.

“They increasingly see Trump as a badass with street cred”.

You nailed it. Thank you.

My guess is that they will have Biden step down for health reasons in mid October. Harris will assume the office of POTUS when it’s too late for team Trump to re-tool his campaign. The fake news will fawn all over her as the first female POTUS.

And it won't matter that she is an idiot. Everyone is already covering for Biden's dementia, she won't be that much worse.

“Biden is a power obsessed egomaniac.”

The assessment Friday during Dan Bongino Show. WMAL-FM.

Biden isn’t going to step down voluntarily.

That’s right.

The whole Democrat political model has always been to corner the market on the stupid half of the voting public. They have proven over and over again that they will believe anything.

Prominent NYT Columnist Tells Biden To Step Aside: ‘He Is Not Up For This’

https://twitter.com/HuffPost/status/1758689084074062303

Ezra Klein, a prominent liberal columnist for The New York Times, published an audio essay Friday making his case against President Joe Biden for the Democratic nomination, saying he should withdraw from the race and allow delegates to pick from a slate of candidates with a better shot at defeating Donald Trump in November.

“We had to wait till this year — till now, really — to see Biden even begin to show what he’d be like on the campaign trail. And what I think we’re seeing is that he is not up for this,” Klein said on his popular semi-weekly podcast, “The Ezra Klein Show.”
