I have been waiting for a sentient ray of light to bring this up for months now i'm glad that you did it. What do we do? History does not teach us anything about this... And most people only do what they are told and don't do any independent thinking. I feel confident that we will come out of this okay but i have no idea what it is going to look like.does anybody have an idea?

Agreed. I have been cold and hungry - when I was in college, money was so tight I had to give blood just for the orange juice and cookies because I couldn’t afford food. My roommates and I couldn’t afford the oil for the house heating system so didn’t have heat for one of the coldest winters in NC in 100 years. I worked more hours, looked for a better paying job and got an education in a sustainable field. I didn’t look for someone to pay my way - these welfare rats make me sick.

These give aways are usually there to test how wonderfully a “guaranteed income” is. They need to pick a thousand people at random, hit them with a $1000 tax per month to pay for someone else’s guaranteed income and see what happens on the tax side. My bet is that most would become unstuck also, as in unstuck from Los Angeles and California when they flee the tax.
Yeah, I would have loved getting paid to ride my Harley but, being a responsible adult, I worked, saved, and retired so I can ride my Harley.
