That’s a great point. Not only do they complain the loudest about the mess they created, their governors won’t send their guards to the border and their governors won’t even sign the letter already signed by 26 states. All they do is waste huge amounts of their citizen’s money taking care of the illegals in their cities to the detriment of their citizens and veterans.
Defending the border is sustainable. Giving away money to invaders is not sustainable.

The agent we met must have been lonely seeing only a few cars per hour. He was real friendly and chatty. We felt bad having to drive on.

This is unnecessary, at this point. The state would do better by just returning the Fed illegal alien ‘parolees’ to Washington DC, which has no states’ sovereignty rights to violate over citizenship. That’s why it’s run by a mayor, instead of a Governor. Read US Constitution, Art. IV, Sect 4.
