Is it just me, or does the world seem Tolkien-esque now. The power of the West in decline, facing a menace from theEast and able to muster only a fraction of its former strength. I don’t see a king returning anytime soon, however.
The generation that went to fight the Japs and Germans did it for love of their country and culture. They were patriots. The rising generation today has been told over and over that America is crap and her culture is diseased. Anyone think they’ll fight and risk being slaughtered for that?
