Let's see who has the leaky defense the next time Russia unleashes its next missile and drone attack.

Bragging about a strike that has zero impact on the course of the war is like a player bragging about scoring a touchdown for team that lost 42-7.

Ukraine strikes their own buildings so they can blame Russia. They also fire on their own troops who want to surrender. They make a lot of claims that turn out to be false.

This is no shock because they had no problem warring with their own people for years in the Donbass. Zelensky was supposed to stop all of that and never did. It is a real shame he didn’t do what he promised. The lure of those western big bucks was too great.

And based on your most recent post, so do you…

The main use for longer range missiles for Ukraine is just what has been done so far - to push logistic systems (supply dumps, maintenance yards) and active airfields yet further away from the front, to hinder tactical/operational abilities.

Airfields are important. One of Russias major assets on the battlefield is the manned aircraft of the RuAF, which are constrained in strategic and interdiction roles by effective Uke air defense, but have still been effective on the front line. If these can be denied convenient airfields it is much harder to use them effectively.

The introduction of the short range cluster variant of ATACMS, for instance, has pushed the KA52 helos out of normal range of the front. Likewise Stormshadow has made Crimean airfields unusable for regular basing for fighterbombers. Both types can still stage to closer airfields, for refueling, from bases further away, but its very unsafe to stay very long. The Ukrainians seem to be on their way to doing the same for the airfields at Belgorod.

The next target desiderata for long range missiles, probably, are -

The Kerch bridge, which it seems is still not quite in range.
Airfields around Taganrog, to which it seems most of the RuAF tactical aircraft have moved.
All sorts of facilities around Rostov, which seems to now be the principal supply and HQ hub (used to be Belgorod, at the outset).

You have to wonder about the mental state a guy whose idea of humor is bouncing his nuts off a piano keyboard.

These are the usual sorts of propaganda assertions, with no basis.

One can however get a reasonably good idea of operations from photos/video, which Ukraine makes good use of, and moreover much of which comes from Russian sources. Russian opsec is still very bad.

Mr. Zelensky has held out against a vastly stronger opponent for almost two years now. Given his habits with pianos, this says nothing good about his enemies. If THAT guy can beat them...

Zelensky is a loud mouthed little weasel who seems to think he has a God given right to empty the US Treasury.

I've been saying from the beginning that Russia and Ukraine are two scorpions in a bottle. We have no business at all, neither militarily nor financially getting involved or subsidizing another round of some Eastern European blood feud.

Talk about a brutal one-two punch!

With this, and the F-16s from Denmark coming online any day now, those dirty Russkis are IN FOR IT!!

Wait, whoops!

Amen to that.

I feel for and pray for the Ukrainian and Russian soldiers and citizens. They’re the ones who are suffering losses and having their lives upended for these chest-thumping grifters.

Neither side can stop the others logistic chain, for different reasons. However they can hinder them.

For instance the Ukrainians have forced the dispersal of Russian supply dumps, making the transport/distribution of supplies less efficient. This was the main initial impact of HIMARS.

This “last 50 miles” aspect of logistics has been crucial in this war, since the first offensive vs Kiev.

It was not a “blood feud”.
No more than the Sino-Japanese war was a “blood feud”.
That was open, imperialist aggression by Japan vs China, with an extensive history of the same.
This war is open, imperialist aggression by Russia vs Ukraine.

The whole point of the post-WW2 international system is to prevent this sort of thing. The precedents of permitting this are very bad.

“Zelensky is a loud mouthed little weasel who seems to think he has a God given right to empty the US Treasury.”

Churchill was a blowhard lush who seemed to think he had a God given right to empty the US Treasury.

Your characterization and conclusions depend on your premises.

It can all end overnight, if the Russians withdraw back to the status quo lines of Feb 2022.

In the News/Activism forum, on a thread titled Russia Loses Two Prized Pantsir Systems As Ukraine Mocks 'Leaky' Defenses, Apparatchik wrote:
Denial ain’t just a river in Egypt, Skippy:

As a missile hits a Kyiv apartment building, survivors lose a lifetime's possessions in seconds

This was FOUR DAYS ago. Sometimes you folks make it too easy to make you look like fools.

McGruff didn't say that a missile did not hit an apartment building. He is correct when he says Russia does not waste missiles targeting apartment buildings. Ukrainian propagandists always make absurd accusations that are easily dismissed.

Russia is winning the war, and it isn't doing it by wasting armaments or targeting civilians. If you prefer to believe that Russians are subhuman 'orcs' who are too stupid and evil to fight effectively, then you must accept the rest of your theory - you must accept that Ukrainians are inferior in battle to sub human orcs who don't know how to fight or win.

And THAT GUY is being used as a tool by the U.S. and NATO to give Russia fits.

You think this through.
