> When was Trump was convicted of insurrection? <

Better question: When was an insurrection declared in the first place?

The “Insurrection Act” gives the president the power to declare an insurrection. Article I, Section 8, Clause 15 of the Constitution says Congress can provide for the militia to suppress an insurrection.

And that’s about it. But the Democrats feel otherwise. They seem to think anyone anywhere can declare that an insurrection has taken place.

Adolf would be real proud of Raskin a real chip off the ol block..what the Dems want is power FOREVER and they never plan on giving it up to anyone, except maybe Haley since she is one of them but no one else..EVER..that is why they have brought in 10 million new voters to make up for the ones they have lost, so Texas will turn blue and that will be the end of America as we know it

When was Trump was convicted of insurrection?

All I've ever heard was a bunch of innuendo that Trump did something bad. Worthless.

To know the law is to know that Raskin doesn’t know the law (or knows that he’s lying).

Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) tells MSNBC’s Jonathan Capehart that the question the Justices have to answer is: “are we going to follow the Constitution?”

That's rich coming from the commie Raskin. What an embarrassment Maryland.

No one, anywhere, has been charged with insurrection. And, Lord knows, they would if they could.

Jamie Raskin, Sheena Bellows (Maine Secretary of State), Judge Engoron, Merrick Garland, etc etc. That’s curious.

Never but apparently we now have a justice system worse than North Koreas. At least in North Korea they “convict” someone THEN issue the punishment. Here, they now punish someone before being convicted.

They’ll overturn it.
What this will actually tell us though is the degree to which the rot has reached the Supreme Court. My guess: 6-3 overturned.
