Where are the airfields that are capable of handling these planes. The Russians have made it crystal clear that if they’re flown from NATO bases, those bases will be attacked.

One thing to say about former Mig pilots flying the 16s.
Muscle memory.
Ever run machinery and get into one that has controls backwards from what you learned on and used to? Well..get into trouble and you’ll go into muscle memory mode. Even if you have run that machine for quite a while. You’ll still go back to what you learned on originally in a panic.
